Is there anything sweeter (or easier) to eat than fresh fruit from a tree? If a tree started growing fruit pies (and cookies), would they be easier to eat than traditionally grown fruit, or would there still be some type of preparation necessary for them, like needing to be baked in an oven?
Text version of today's comic for screen readers
Panel 1: Andrea and Melanie are picking apples at Sunnytop Orchards. Andrea has an unimpressed expression as she looks at Melanie, who is studing apples in her hands with a disappointed expression on her face. They have a wagon filled wih bushels of apples and there are more bushels on the ground around them, one of which has Mr. Sprinkles hiding inside it, glaring in Melanie's direction. Kay is flying towards one of the baskets, holding an apple. Next to Kay is a sign that reads "pick your own apples! $10. a bushel" Apple trees in fall colors of oranges and yellows are visible in the background, and the orchard's sales building can be seen off in the distance.
Melanie: "Sigh... Fruit would be so much easier to eat if it naturally came in pie form."
Kay: "Or cookie form!"
