In honor of Father's Day, here's a sentimental comic! Happy Father's Day!
Note: This actually would be a cute tradition for a family to have. Also as a bonus, a path like that would mean less lawn to mow!
Text version of today's comic for screen readers
Panel 1: Melanie is standing next to Andrea, who is holding a large bucket of a white mixture that has a wooden stirrer in it. Kay is behind them looking confused and curious, and there are two pie plate-sized pans filled with the white mixture on the counter.
Melanie: "What are you doing, Andrea?"
Andrea: "I'm making a set of footprints for my dad for Father's Day!"
Panel 2: Andrea starts to carry the bucket of plaster away, while Melanie follows her. Kay squishes her hands into one of the pans.
Melanie: "Again? But you give him a set every year!"
Andrea: "Ever since I was a baby, yeah. He seems to like them!"
Sound FX: "SQUISH"
Panel 3: The view has changed to outside of the house. Andrea and Melanie can be seen through a window, and Mr. Sprinkles is hiding in the bushes below it, watching a bird in the yard. There's a fence to the right of the house with a sign on the door that reads "Open for Adventure". There's a stone path leading up to the door that has large white circles with footprints in them, with two holes of that size closer to the door.
Melanie: "What does he do with them?"
Andrea: "Oh, he puts them in a special place."
