Cats especially love homework! It's like catnip to them.
Text version of today's comic for screen readers
Panel 1: An oversized panel that encompasses what would normally be 3 panels. Mr. Sprinkles is on a table, dragging some papers out of Melanie's backpack, then stomps on them, then rolls around in the papers, sending them flying everywhere. Melanie is more distraught and upset with each action of Mr. Sprinkles, who stares her in the eye the whole time.
Melanie: "Hey, get away from there!"
Sound FX as Mr. Sprinkles slides papers out of a backpack: "SLIIIDE"
Melanie: "Mr. Sprinkles, NO. Stop that!"
Sound FX as Mr. Sprinkles trots all over the papers: "STOMP STOMP STOMP"
Melanie, angrily with her arms in the air: "NO! BAD MR. SPRINKLES!"
Sound FX as Mr. Sprinkles rolls around on all the homework and books: "ROLL ROLL"
Panel 2: Andrea gives Melanie a questioning look as she holds an innocent-looking Mr. Sprinkles, while Melanie has an annoyed expression and is holding a bunch of crumpled pages of her homework.
Andrea: "...Really? Are you sure that's what happened? I seem to recall a time when you thought a bug was in your bag."
Melanie: "It's true! He never broke eye contact the whole time! ...And the bug was there! It just fell out when I flung my backpack across the hallway!"
