Andrea: "Sorry about that, Kay. Melanie has an obsession with elves that-"
Melanie, with a sassy grin: "It's not an obsession, it's a healthy appreciation."
Panel 2: Andrea turns to Melanie and grabs Mr. Sprinkles, putting the focus on Melanie's "Elven Princess" shirt.
Andrea: "Everything you own has elves on it, and your homework always seems to end up elf-related."
Melanie: "I'm very thorough in my appreciation."
Panel 3: Andrea gives Melanie a mildly annoyed look. Melanie looks excitedly at Kay, who has a reluctant expression.
Melanie: "So anyway, elves exist, right Kay?!"
Andrea: "Can we deal with one impossibility at a time, and start with dragon fairies existing?"
Melanie: "Can we face chat with one right now?!"
Kay: "Uh... well..."
