Don't you just hate it when that happens? At least Andrea had part of it done!
Text version of today's comic for screen readers
Panel 1: The girls sitting in their desks at school in History class, and Andrea is taking her books out of her bag.
Andrea: "I still can't believe I won! I can't wait to get that cookie jar!"
Melanie: "You'll share any cookies that come with it with me, right Andrea?"
Panel 2: The girls are shown from behind (but facing each other). The teacher is in the background addressing the class.
Teacher: "Good morning class! Let's begin by handing in your homework."
Andrea: Of course Melanie, I -
Panel 3: Andrea has a shocked expression on her face as she realizes they never finished their homework at the smoothie shop. To make it even more dramatic, the background has a dark purple gradient and the words "OH NO" at the top in a grunge-y white font.
Melanie scoots her desk away from Andrea and says "uh oh."
Panel 4: Andrea has tears rolling down her face as she's panicing and flailing her arms.
Andrea screams: NOOO! I forgot to finish the assignment in all of the excitement! Oh why did we check the results first?! Why?! OH WHY?!"
The teacher has a blank expression as she watches the outburst. Meanwhile, Melanie looks away and slumps down in her chair.
