Story

One day a girl named Andrea wins a cookie jar in a contest, only to find a magical dragon fairy named Kay inside. Now nothing will ever be the same, especially when trouble always seems to follow Kay around!

Kay, the Cookie Jar Dragon

A magical dragon fairy that lives inside a cookie jar. She enjoys learning new things, and loves chocolate chip cookies.
Andrea Lynn

A human girl who enjoys reading, writing, history, and doting on Mr. Sprinkles. She doesn't believe in magic.
Melanie Vertfeuille

Andrea's energetic and creative friend who has a strong belief in elves and a love of dance, soccer, and art.
Mr. Sprinkles

Andrea's clever pet cat who enjoys being in charge, but often has an annoyed expression, especially around Kay.

About the Artist

Despite what the illustration shows, Aquamarine Ryu doesn't actually live in a cookie jar filled with cookies. She does, however, live in the mysterious state of Ohio.

Aquamarine has always loved to create art and comics. Back in high school, she created a one-panel comic in her cartooning class that depicted a girl saying "Dragons do exist...they just live in cookie jars." Years later, this idea was refined and cultivated into the comic you see today.

Besides a life-long love of art, dragons, and cookies, Aquamarine also enjoys designing, reading novels and comics, watching comedies, dinosaurs, crafting, and anything that sparkles!
